Dermaplaning, is a non-invasive form of manual exfoliation of the skin that resurfaces sun-damaged, dull, dehydrated skin. Will I Have To Take Time Off Work For Healing?

Won’t The Hairs On The Face Grow Back Thicker?

No. The hair on the face is called Vellous hairs and it is physiologically impossible to grow back thicker. There are two types of hair that grow on our bodies, Vellous and Terminal hair. Vellous hair is the fine, translucent hair that you can find on your cheeks, jaw and neck – often referred to as “peach fuzz”. Terminal hair is thicker, colored hair that grows under the arms, legs, eye brows, and mustache and beard for men. Terminal hair we remove with laser hair removal. When Vellous hair is cut the structure of the hair does not become damaged, therefore it is impossible to alter.
